Draft Beer Line Cleaning in the Bay Area

Thorough, scheduled line cleaning using industry-standard procedures. Keep every pour tasting as the brewer intended.

What's Included

What We Do

Dirty draft lines are the leading cause of off-flavored beer and unhappy customers. Yeast, bacteria, mold, and beer stone build up over time — and the effects show up in the glass before you see them anywhere else. 101 Draft Works provides thorough, scheduled line cleaning using food-safe chemical solutions and industry-standard procedures.

Every cleaning visit, we follow the Brewers Association guidelines. We schedule around your business hours, document every cleaning with a timestamped service log, and keep you on a program so nothing falls through the cracks. Cleaning frequency depends on your system and your pour volume — we'll help you find a cadence that keeps your beer tasting right without over-servicing.

Full Line Flush & Cleaning: We disassemble faucets, flush lines with alkaline and or acid based cleaners, then rinse with fresh water before putting beer back through your system.
Faucet & Coupler Service: Every cleaning includes a full disassembly and inspection of each faucet and coupler, the two biggest sources of bacterial contamination.
Scheduled Programs: We set up bi-weekly, weekly, or monthly cleaning programs and remind you when service is due. You'll never have to guess.
Service Documentation: We provide timestamped service logs after every visit so you have a clear record for compliance, quality assurance, or vendor accountability.

Our Process

How It Works

01

System Flush

We connect our cleaning setup and push beer out of the lines, preparing for the chemical cleaning cycle.

02

Chemical Clean

Alkaline solution is recirculated through lines to break down beer stone, yeast, and bacterial buildup.

03

Acid Rinse

An acid rinse follows to neutralize alkalinity and remove mineral deposits from the line walls.

04

Sanitize & Reconnect

Lines are sanitized, couplers and faucets are reassembled, and the system is pressure-checked before you serve.
